Beth teaches Young Musicians Program at New Zealand School of Music as well as individual lessons from her home.  Her studio is located close to Owhiro Bay School (5min drive from Brooklyn village). Vacancy is limited. Please email to register your interest. bethchen@bethchenpiano.com

The studio is equipped with a Kawai grand piano, recording equipment and seating area. Parents are welcome to join in the later part of the lesson for mini performances and progress updates. Students are offered the option of having their own private youtube playlist to document their piano progress. Mini tutorials from lessons are also uploaded as a learning tool. To protect students' privacy, the channel is only available via private link. It is not available to the general public via search.

Exams and piano competitions are encouraged but never mandatory. Students are taught theory, technical studies and a variety of piano repertoire. Beth's focus points are on building a solid technique, expanding musical understanding and to foster a life-long love for music.
